The location is magnificent and ideal, it's right by the centre of town as well as restaurants downtown. Also, it's 2 km away from The Photographic Angle. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese for breakfast are a plus.

It's super convenient to reach this venue from London Heathrow airport, only 0.5 km away, the room was spotless, nicely furnished with a big comfy bed, and had smoke detectors for safety.

Location right by the shops and restaurants, the river that crosses the town and the church and churchyard. Decent sized and perfect room and large bathroom with hair dryers, terrycloth bathrobes and towels. Good eggs, bacon and cheese.

The room was spotless and huge and the views of mountains and valley toward Ettal were scenic. Hotel's location was beautiful and fantastic, in a very convenient location to the downtown area.

The staff were very welcoming and spoke perfect English. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot beside the river and at the foot of a mountain whilst being just a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The hotel itself is very clean and the quality of the furnishing is very high, albeit very old-fashioned. If modernised, the hotel would be perfect, but, then again, if you are spending so long in the hotel for such things to matter, you are clearly missing the point of being in Oberammergau!
It's not a dislike, just a matter of taste: the old-fashioned decor and furnishing. Some people would find it quaint and comforting. I would definitely stay there again though!

I greatly enjoyed the property and its inclusive breakfast.
The location was nice and ideal for Oberammergau, near to the river and Oberammergau for a white Christmas. I had coffee at Cafe Bar Central, located within 5 minutes walk.

Located close to village center with shops, restaurants and walking paths close by. Recently refurbished, traditional German breakfast. Nice shower room. Very warm room.
Located on busy road,(we had a front room), noise all day and night. Far from main hotel,so you feel isolated, no interaction form main hotel, only saw breakfast/cleaning lady. No where to sit and relax outside of room. Uncomfortable pillows

The staff was very very nice and kind; very good location in relation to the town centre and many other paths in the countryside;
The mattress was really unconfortable; my back was aching due to that; too hot in the bedroom; the hotel is very spacious but it definetely needs renovating; it looks pretty old; the food also could be improved; however, overall comment is positive
